Come by each night for a beverage after you're done seeing movies! Maybe enjoy a tasty dinner from Grilled Expedition's great menu. Grilled Expedition is right across the courtyard from the Centerpoint Theatres. Just look for our banners, and head on up to the second floor.
Friday Night Bash - 9pm to 1am
Kick off the Festival with a cold tasty Moosehead Beer. Chat with other festival attendees and our fabulous filmmakers! Just a warning; pace yourself because the Festival is just getting started.
Saturday Night Costume Party – 9pm to 1am
Costume Contest at Saturday Night’s Party at 11:00pm!
Wear your horror or sci-fi attire to the party -- the audience and judges will review those who'd like to compete. The big winner gets $100 and lots of applause! Anyone wearing a costume will receive a Flex Pass to four movies on Sunday.
Queen of Scream Contest at Saturday Night’s Party at 11:30pm
Got a killer scream? Think you’ve got what it takes to be the Queen of Scream? Well, dress up and chill everyone to the bones with your piercing voice!
Other Major Costume Category is Best Homemade Horrific. Create your own and get a Flex Pass to Sunday's Festival Day, and the winner gets $100 cash! All entrants also win a part as a FEATURED EXTRA in the filming at the IFP Phoenix "HANDS-ON-HOLLYWOOD" shoot Friday Night November 2nd and show your costume to the world! And Scream Queens in Homemade Costumes can also take part in the fun!
Sunday Closing Night Party – 9pm to 1am
It’s time to close out another great festival with one last party. Join us for one last celebration before we put this baby to bed.
Autograph Raffle
Since we really appreciate all you folks who wait in line for celebrity autographs, you’ll receive a raffle ticket when you get an autograph at any of the sessions. Then on Sunday Night we'll hold the drawing at the Closing Night Party to see who the big winners are of some fabulous prizes.

We are in the midst of creating the 2007 International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival. We have some great things on tap for our audiences and filmmakers.
The Festival will kick off on Friday, October 19th with our Opening Night Event featuring a big time film and maybe a special guest or two. Films will continue into the night, featuring retro and late night fare. Don’t forget about the party that night. After all what’s a Festival, without a party.
On Saturday, October 20th the finest in independent horror and sci-fi feature and shorts will be screened as the competition films take center stage. In the evening we’ll induct a celebrity guest into the International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival Hall of Fame. Later that night will be the legendary, Saturday Night Costume Party featuring a cash prize costume contest.
Then on Sunday, October 21st the films continue to roll on feature four screens of films. More indie and retro titles will be scattered throughout the day. Free seminars will be held Sunday and Saturday in one of the theatres. Come check out how the filmmakers put these films onto the big screen and how they did their cool effects.We’ll close out the Festival screenings with a big film and then we’ll head over to the Closing Night Party to put this baby to bed.
